Just noticed that Schweser is not a good representative of what is covered in the CFA study texts.
I could not find concepts like ‘directed brokerage’ etc in Schweser when I found questions on this in the mocks. Does this mean CFA text is the SOLE book to study for ethics ?作者: DoubleDip 时间: 2013-3-30 20:51
Abosolutely, I am taking Level 1 in Dec and am just about done reading Ethics, topics such as “directed brokerage”, “soft dollars”, “carve-outs”, and other small details that could come in the exam are not emphasized or totally excluded as you mention. For Ethics make sure you use CFAI materials, I am taking my own notes for Ethics.
