I wonder if I’m wasting time highlighting stuff in my Schweser material. I’ve heard so many people say you should just read through all the material once and then spend the rest of your time doing practice Qs, mocks, EOCs, and Secret Sauce.
So after doing all the readings, if I shouldn’t re-read or skim through the material again then there’s no point in my doing all this highlighting.
Or should I keep doing it?

Reading for me wasnt so important, it was the pracitce problems and mocks and then coming back to the notes to read my weak areas. Rinse and repeat this process.

I’ve already highlighted Schweser books 1-3 and part of book 4. Since I’m in the final stretch (only 2 more weeks of going through the material until I start my 1 month review), I think I’ll just spead read through the rest of book 4 and 5. And I’ll dedicate more time to practice questions.

Mostly a waste of time, but since it’s not a big use of time you may as well do it. It can come handy when you’re reviewing certain topics

If it takes you too long to highlight while reading, then you are wasting your time.
Your time is best spent on ECO, BB, and practice tests. Having said that, I highlighted all the readings. It helped me to review weak areas, and I felt I wasn’t really spending any additional time because of the hihglighting

Should definitely highlight in my opinion. You’ll need to read the highlighted stuff at least once again during the last month coz there is just so much to retain!
