雷曼贝登倒闭/美林被购/摩根高盛转型商行
单纯的投资银行模式在华尔街几乎被彻底否定
与之对应的投行产品，如衍生品,证券化,抵押债券等等 它们存在的权威性似乎都受到了巨大挑战
各位candidate 你们认为现在的情况对CFA机构及其认证的影响有多大？ 当前形势是否会让你的备考计划有所动摇？ 请大家畅所欲言 写出心里话：）

very good question.but, the collaplse of wall street doesn't mean no demand for derivatives, cdos, or mbs, or whatever. the market still there, investors need those products. problem is regulation and more transparency. That being said, cfa till has its value and in the forseeable future, I don't see any other exams/certificates can threat cfa's recognition in the area.

这五大在不在跟CFA根本没关系。从没听说任何一家投行因为你是CFA所以就把你招进来的......
计划不会动摇，因为本来就没期待CFA能带我去这些地方。

sell side 的分析师很傻,纯粹就是为了brokerage的业务存在的.

CFA只是一种知识体系，教育背景。
投资理财，是永恒的需求，没有人觉得钱多是一种罪。

原来的Top5没有了，所以过去的top 6-10就成了现在的Top 5了。怎么能说五大投行不存在了呢？铁打的营盘，流水的公司。

其实华尔街倒了以后,今后在世界金融舞台唱戏的将是中国的金融机构,特别是中国的银行和保险机构.CFAI其实还要反过来拍中国人的马屁.不过CFAI的做事也只是半斤八两而已,并不象中国考生想象的那么高.

CFA存在了那么多年，并不会因为一两次金融危机就失去价值，存在即是真理

I just want that the financial crisis could make the ever increasing candidates fewer so that the entrance of CFA could be easier for the candidates who has passed some level of exam.
