Just curious why you hold so many different types of indices? I know a lot of firms recommend this as an "easy fix," but seems like you are just giving away any competitive advantages you might otherwise have if you could pick individual stocks.

I only have a Roth IRA right now -- rolled all my 401k and IRA into Roth IRA this year because I'm in business school now and expect to have my lowest tax rate this year. I hold a mix of healthcare, blue-chip technology and industrial stocks, as well as some metal commodities. Where applicable I'll use calls or puts on individual equities to limit downside. No indices for me. I'm probably more "active" in managing my retirement account than most.
