Anyway, your legal background would be a plus to underwriting service. If you really wanna get in, try this role. The only job of underwriting service relative to CFA is evaluation of pre-IPO company, which is just spreadsheet crunch. Your legal background will help you more. Try to get famiarity with underwriting laws.
