Buy a put: means you borrow the stock and sell it at first, later when stock price decline, you bought it back and return the stock也就是融券
Short a call: gives other the right to buy a stock at a lower price, but the price will not be lower than current stock price, otherwise the dealer is just giving free money LOL.
