What do u think are the chances of this actually showing up on the exam? I just dont get it. Is there a trick to remembering how to do it?

yeah, that is a good idea but hopefully one we will not even need to use

no way in hell will I ever remember this - I only got a little brain capacity left, better off learning something I can possibly remember... I agree with kevinf12 - will pick all Bs if this comes up...

I actually dont mean all B's, what I would look for is the actual SAME NUMBER, with my logic being that if you are calculating Asset category, they will give you that and Benchmark and another perhaps as an answer. So if the three questions were Asset, then Calc Benchmark, then calc the other...if I do the same answer for all three (again, assuming they present it) there is a very good shot it will be correct for 1 of them just based on how the test answers are structured.

it's Net contribution but means same as cash contribution

My hope is if they get calcs on there, maybe they do like 3 calc at most and hopefully, they have some common answers...I would likely just pick the same answer for all three and hope to get 1/3 correct, save time, and move on...

Thanks to you guys, I learned about ARABIA

A = A Cash Contribution
R = Risk Free
A = Asset Category
B = Benchmark
I = Investment Mgr
A = Active Allocation

I am glad I am not the only one out there who finds it difficult. Does anyone know if they tested it last year?

It's on the '09 mock exam. They actually made you do the calculations.... needless to say, I got maybe 2 out of 6 like most everyone.

Thankfully, it was not on the real thing last year (although wouldn't have mattered for me).

One of those topics that should be buried... beyond useless.
