Level 3 study strategy guidance, techniques, sufficient, background

Hey L3ers,

I'm hoping someone with a consulting background, who passed level 3, can provide some guidance on their study techniques.

I work in institutional consulting and am finding level 3 to be more along the lines of what I do day to day.

I'm wondering has anyone switched up their study methods for level 3? I used CFA textbooks exclusively in level 1 and 2 but feel Schweser would be sufficient for level 3. Am I way off line here? I will definitely go through EOC questions as well as examples in the textbooks though.

I'm the opposite, spent most of my time on Schweser for level 1 and 2; thinking I will focus on CFA text for level 3. I remember reading that Schweser is not adequate for level 3.

Any comments?

Best bet would be to stick to the current strategy. The L3 curriculum isn't as thick.
