Just wanted to feel for what your experience was with the Schweser Mocks.
I am finishing off Volume 2, and I am finding them to be quite a breeze through... Somewhat a waste of time.

What are your thoughts on the difficulty??

Just finished the Vol1 Exam 2 - Morning. It was a looooong processes. I don't think any other Mock had soo many calculations involved... This has to be on the upper level of what we can expect on Saturday...

Anyways, I was able to pump out a low 70 on this one... Equity and somehow Econ smoked me...
Thanks for the advise on thsi one.

My biggest concern is that I chose to spend most of my time learning the "meat" of the concepts, in addition to hammering home ethics, accounting, econ and quant.

When I get those random questions that show up on 1 out of every 3 mocks they just kill me.

Its tough to assess. Because a simple definition question can be harder than calculating god knows what... That's if you don't remember the definition. So several terms that are scarce, and have long been forgotten, can really drop your mark several percent...

I have similar experience with the mock and also worried about the extremes.

I completely agree. I absolutely bombed Volume 1 Exam 2 morning session with a 59% and got an 83% on the afternoon session for a combined 71%.

It doesn't seem right at all that I could get a 59 and an 83. I'm a little worried that my grade is literally subject to the types of questions / difficulty they decide to make it.

I think vol1 exam 2 morning session and exam 3 afternoon session are most challenging. If you want to attempt only 1 then you may want to combine both of these. But, for you they may not be as you are anyways scoring pretty high.

Thanks sgupta.

In your opinion, from the 3 mocks in volume 1, which one did you find the most challenging. I have 1 more mock planned, and I was thinking of doing the last one from Volume 2, but your post has changed my mind haha.

Thanks,

I feel CFA is gonna be heavy on the concepts. they seem to be stressing on concepts

He is talking in general it is perceived that vol2 is harder than vol1 but that doesn't to be the case this year.
