TVM problems problems

Do we have to memorize all those TVM equations (Like there would be questions on them)? or we don't have to spend that much time in it cause we can use our calculators?

There are some questions where knowing the formula makes it a lot faster to solve the problem. Usually they come up in sections outside of quant though. For example, a dividend discount model problem in the equity investments section is basically a TVM problem that you have to set up with the formula, it's just not in quant notation.

use your calculator for TVM questions. Plus I think if you know the basic idea of TVM, you wouldn't need to remember any of the formula.
