Afternoon Mock error? something, question, solution, appears

I checked the errata and did not find any mention of this, but question 6 in Ethics appears to contradict itself. Do you suppose it is an error, or am I missing something?

Statement 3 appears to be identical to what is described in the solution, yet the answer is that it is incorrect..?

On the topic, did anyone else find Ethics totally brutal in the Mocks? I got killed with them...

The ethics questions given in the sample were more difficult. I got tripped up by this question too. Basically, statement #4 disadvantages your clients that aren't mutual funds.

I suppose my interpretation of 'inconsistent' is incorrect. I assume that it is consistent, being stricter than CFA guidelines. :-S Damn ethics questions...

Statement 3 is wrong because you are allowed to share factual sections of the report with the company prior to publication to ensure accuracy.

I was confused by the set up of this vignette. I understood Natali to be a buyside analyst, but the questions and answers are consistent with her being on the sell side.

You should reread the answer. You can display factual information to check numbers, you cant have any ratings though.
