Stats: Equity was easiest; Econ was hardest; How ethical is

Made a spreadsheet from the first six pages of the results page; here are some stats:
Out of 157 scores, 140 AFers passed, for a passing rate of 89%.
In passing exams:
The best possible score on the worst passing exam was 73.7%. The lowest 40-60-80 on a passing exam was 61%. The average 40-60-80 on passing exams was 71.9%.
Two people scored above 70% in all sections.
In failing exams:
The worst possible score on the best failing exam was 56.5%. The highest 40-60-80 on a failing exam was 70%.
The average 40-60-80 was 63.6%
Most Failed Sections (
Most Passed Sections (70%): Equity Investments: 119 (76%)…Only two failed ; Corporate Finance 115 (73%)…Only five failed; and Derivatives 113 (72%)…Only 10 failed
How ethical is AF? The majority of you are: 20 (13%) failed; 58 (37%) were in the middle and 79 (50%) passed.

Don’t even bother to tabulate. Fails always post later, so your stats aren’t worth salt.

Duh. I’m not saying AF has a pass rate of 89%, I’m saying of the people that posted their results, 89% passed.

Agreed. Cherry picking and survivor bias in the data.
