CFA/Schweser Mock Scores

Hey everyone, hope your studies are going great!  Simply just posting Mock scores to get an idea of where I stand.  Please post yours as well;
CFA Mock:  76%
Schweser Mocks (average of 5):  78%
I generally finish about 15 minutes early to review all my answers (I am a slow test taker/reader), but I never once couldn’t finish because of time.
Just think everyone, in less than two weeks we will be free!!! Good luck to all.

I know it’s all about Schweser here, but nevertheless: Anyone done Elan’s Mocks yet?
I scored some stunning 74% (Mock 1 Morning), 76% (Mock 1 Evening) and 85% (Mock 2 Morning). I cannot believe these scores, I do know I have some weak areas but none of them were asked in the exams.
So I’d be very happy if someone could draw a comparison between Elan’s, Schweser’s and CFA Mocks vs. the real thing.

My experience so far:
Mock exams
- 2013: 72% (67% AM / 77% PM) - 2hs 52 min
- 2012: 69% (65% / 73% PM) - 2hs 58 min
QBank: 75% average (4 tests of 120 questions) around 2hs 30 min
In my opinion, qbank tests are easier than mocks (although i score almost the same, qbank tests were the first ones i took, i.e my last score was 78%).
For the rest of the week im planning to take one Schweser Vol I exam and another mock, aiming for 75% and reviewing weak areas.

Econ was extremely hard especially in the afternoon session. scored 71% in both.

Just finished the the CFAI mocks…six hour goes faster than I expected.
Scores: 73.3% on both sections (AM and PM).
As many have outlined, Economics and FSA were much harder than Schweser. I thought Ethics was on par. Hoping Saturday’s exam is a bit easier.

73% on the CFA mock morning session today. If I do both in one day I will feel tired the next day and not manage to get as much studying done so that is why I am doing the afternoon session tomorrow.
Pretty happy with my score but I am still aiming to get my scores above 75% in general before the day of the actual exam.
Ethics and Economics were more difficult on the CFA morning mock exam than the Schweser mocks.

I just took my second full Schweser Mock and scored 83%:
81% in the morning and 85% in the afternoon - that’s comforting.  What’s NOT comforting is knowing that this is Schweser, not CFA exams.  I’m going to take a break tomorrow and then take the CFA mock this Saturday as if it were the real deal.  I still feel like there is quite a bit I do not know and I feel as though I’m just getting lucky with the questions I am getting.  Like the questions are too basic, scratch the surface of my knowledge kind of deal… if they were to dig a little deeper, I’d have to say sorry buddy, I’m not sure I know the answer to that.
Can anyone speak to how well the Schweser mocks represent the actual exam?  Some say harder, some say easier…. really would just like peace of mind at the moment ><

Took my first Schweser Mock outside of the Live Mock and got a 78% total
There was a clear distinction in difficulty level between the morning and afternoon sessions.  I got an 81% on the morning session and a 75% on the afternoon session.  I had a lot of lucky guesses on the afternoon session.  I hope that’s not a consistent trend especially considering we’re more tired by the afternoon already.

I’m not sure how good those mock exams are.  Two years ago I totally immersed myself in the L2 material.  I went all out on the studying, and I felt like I learned a lot.  I took EVERY MOCK EXAM offered by Stalla; I got b/w 90% - 100% correct on every single one.  On exam day I felt really confident.  A couple months later, I got the results, and I found out that I FAILED EVERY SINGLE SECTION single section.  So, I tried to use the Stalla promise to get a free review, and they turned me away.  I never went back to Stalla again.  I’m just reading the actual CFA materials this year.  That’s all.  This is my last time taking it.  Next year, I’ll read the L3 materials, no matter if I pass ro fail L2 this time around.  If I fail again, I’ll just do the FRM and CAIA.  I think those exams ask questions based on the material they ask you to study.  The CFA consistently asks you to study certain things, like A, B, and C, and on test day, they will ask about completely different things, X, Y, Z, which are not even in the LOSs.

I keep two scores - one on my actual answers and another for wild guesses that I would leave blank otherwise. Get the best of both that way!
