The Schweser materials worked well for me for Level 1 and 2. There was a thread on here earlier that the videos from Schweser didn't meet expectations this year. I do have their books and they seem to do a decent job summarizing the CFAI text.

I haven't seen the Stalla materials, so can't really comment.

I think reading from CFAI Books is long but sure way to success. I find that doing Finquiz questions on top of curriculum reading really help in digging concepts in details. There are also more than 60 item sets in Finquiz practice questions.
One of my friend appeared in Level 3 in 2009 after preparing from Schweser study notes. She was horrified to find atleast three different calculations in the exam that Schweser explicitly mentioned as not likely to appear in exam in their professor notes. Schweser removed these references in 2010 edition.
My point is why trust these prep providers for such an important exam in life? Extra effort now can save a lot in opportunity cost later.

my route is CFAI text almost exclusively and EOC questions coupleded with Stalla video lectures and passmaster...fingers crossed.

i've got ~400 hours mapped our from Jan 2 - Jun 5 so hopefully its enough as i will be 3 for 3 for june cfai exams if i pass level III in june '11 (disclosure: i did B10 level I once though in Dec '08, in case CFAI is reading this)
