刚刚听了胡新辉老师的GIPS课程，对于其中的例题习题有两点疑问

1、习题3中，A答案不正确的原因是GIPS中不用包括non-fee-paying accounts，但是在

下载的教学资料第二页中，关于公司定义的原文是“Total firm assets includes total

market value of discretionary and non-discretionary assets, including fee-

paying and non-fee-paying accounts”，与答案的解释相矛盾，究竟哪个是正确的？

2、习题9中，由于一家已经成立15年的公司从2001年1月1日起才准备遵守GIPS，根据历

史业绩记录相关的要求“No noncompliant performance can be presented after

January 1, 2000”  的要求，不是应该提供2000年1月1日到2001年1月1日的合规情况，

以及2000年1月1日之前9年的历史业绩和早年未能合规GIPS的原因说明，即B答案么？

第一问因为手上没有讲义，下次回答。

第二问，该公司提供2000年1月1日到2001年1月1日的合规情况，以及2000年1月1日之前4年的历史业绩就可以了，以后在继续提供五年的业绩，总需要报告十年的。

感谢胡老师的及时回复，您回答的习题9的答案和我的理解应该是一致的,即1年的合规情况和9年的历史业绩，因此我认为该题正确答案应为

B. Retroactively comply with GIPS for the year beginning January 1, 2000, and report nine additional years of performance history(ten total) with a

disclosure of why the earlier years are not GIPS compliant

但是课程和教案中说答案是

D. Retroactively comply with GIPS for the 5-year period Januray 1, 1996, through December 31, 2000, and report five additional years of non-GIPS-compliant

performance with a disclosure of why the performance in these years is not GIPS compliant.

这是不是说明教材里这道题目的答案给错了？

你的理解不对。这里，应该报告97,98,99,00,01年的合规业绩，再报告02,03,04,05,06年的合规业绩，也就是说，一个业绩报告要报告十年的业绩。以后07年报告的话，把97年的业绩可以删除。原来答案D是对的。

回答你第一问。第二页中确实有“Total firm assets includes total

market value of discretionary and non-discretionary assets, including fee-

paying and non-fee-paying accounts”，这句话，这句话是对公司总资产的定义。但是业绩报告并没有要求报告公司的总资产，而是do not require managers to include non-fee-paying accounts in composites

另外多问一句，这句话“do not require managers to include non-fee-paying accounts in composites”我刚刚翻了一下GIPS课程的教案但却没有找到，请问出处是哪里？

另外一个建议是给上传教案的工作人员提出的，08年部分课程下载的教案是PDF图片文件格式，实在不方便搜索关键信息和粘贴复制到论坛上来提问，能够将所有教案都改为word格式上传以方便学员使用？谢谢~！
