In most cases, is the calculated return objective (% or figures) required for answering other questions (risk tolerance and 5 constraints) ?

Then, I may answer to other questions (risk tolerance and 5 constraints) and leave the return objective to the last minute if there is still time left ! It is time-consuming and very easy to make mistake for me.
