Aside from a minor (relatively speaking) storm and the usual unrest in the middle east, there is no major negative news right now dominating the headlines. Anyone else see a short term spurt in the markets assuming nothing new comes up?

People are still jittery about the market right now and are hesitant to put money in risky assets. If nothing new happens, they will probably calm down a bit, so your theory is quite plausible.
