For Candidates who took level 1 test Need Your suggestion
I’ve been reading the CFAI Textbooks purely (sometimes going back to Schweser Notes to instill and retain the knowledge) as my approach to study. I will complete Vol 4 this weekend. With two more books to go, I’m starting to think maybe I should switch it up and study via Schweser Notes only for Equity/Fixed Income (Vol 5) and Derivative/Alternative Investment (Vol 6). What are your thoughts?
Reason why I want to go with SchweserNotes only is that it will save me a lot of time. So I can start to focus on the overall review(which includes answer questions, taking sample test, going over my weak areas) prior to test day
I think having two months for review would be a valuable resource to passing this test and I don’t think I can allocate two months for review if I would have to continue using CFA textbooks as my primary source of study.
Please let me know your thoughts. Thanks |
