Though passed L3, I think I'll have to wait many years to accumulate enough work exp. So it's done for the moment. I wonder if CFA Inst. will send me any certificate for the pass of L3.

You can ask them to issue you an official letter and they do.

I needed one for further academics and they emailed me a nicely drafted letter stating I had passed CFA Level 2, within minutes of my inquiry, also briefly outlining the L2 syllabus content.
