Suppose now is t0. At the end of year 3 (t3), deposit  $1000; at the end of year 4 (t4), deposit $1000 and so on. The last deposit of $1000 would be at the end of the 10th year (t10). So t2-t5, 1/y = 5% and t5-t10, 1/y = 4%.

得不到C的值啊?
用第三年初投1k开始算答案也不对

Take the first 1K for instance, it should be 1K* (1+5%)^2* (1+4%)^5.
