CFA entrance requirements 2011, business, customer, register, college

Does anyone know how strict the CFA Institute is on enforcing entrance requirements? I finished my junior year in college last spring, taking a year off to work on a business startup. Technically, right now would be my senior year. Can I register to take the Level 1 June 2012 test? I called customer service but they gave me very vague answers about verification.
