are we overly stressing like we always do on AF

so i feel like i've run into the same thing the past 3 levels on AF.

everyone seems overly stressed over minutia and sample/mock/schweser exam scores, where apparently a 70% is a fail.

don't get me wrong it's a stressful time, but remember the following i read from the secret sauce book:

there's no way you can remember everything, you can get a decent amount wrong and still pass,

and remember that the scores posted here are all positively skewed.

Don't believe it ***Fingers in ears**** Na na na nanana

Keep working, keep doing questions, don't stop, but take the last day or at least afternoon off. It'll all be over in 10 days, don't stop now.

Agree. If 50% pass in general, we will be statistically higher then that in my opinion.

Nah I dont think we over worry.. Gotta beat 70 here anyway possible. If its worrying about the minutia that will get me those 2 extra points to push me from 68 to 70 on exam day, i will do what it takes.

It's natural to be worried. Remember that the problems that get asked here on the forum tend to be the harder ones, and the ones that require more minute details.

If you base your anticipation of what's on the exam based on the questions people have in this forum, you'll expect an exam that is dramatically tougher than the one on test day.

The exam on test day *will* be tough, but not as tough as you would think based on the questions asked in this forum.

Voice of reason, nice call Bchad.

I love AF but I stopped coming to the forum 2-3 weeks before each level just because of the high stress level at AF.

I will tell you, even two years later, it DOES feel nice NOT having to study in late May.

So it's worth putting in the final push, just to make sure you can enjoy the weather next year!

Don't mind the stress either, it pushes me. Got to the office yesterday at 5:30 am and did a sample before work. Did an hour at lunch, then stayed until 11:15 pm and fuggin loved every minute of it.

So close to getting through this program in a relatively short amount of time, no relaxing now. 9 days of balls to wall to validate the past 2 years of hard work and sacrifice? No problem.
