CFAI book4 - optional segment all, friends, reading, figure

My fellow L3 friends: are you all reading all the optional segment? If I don’t read it, is it a risky strategy.
There was some optional segment in Book-2 and I read those. I am running out of time, and trying to figure what to do - read optional segment or not.

You may skip them because at the beginning of each CFAI Curriculum textbook, it specifically says you will NOT be tested on the Optional Segments, but that these may help your understanding of certain concepts.
