Hey guys,

I just realized that when I take the practice exam I've been laying the previous page next to the page where the questions are and looking back and forth between the reading and the questions.

And then it hit me.. On the exam day, the exam will be in a booklet! Only thing that I don't remember is if the pages are printed on front and back... so that at least when I have a page open there's some reading on one side and questions on the next. Does anybody know?

I might be being just paranoid over stupid things.. but that's really starting to worry me!

chill, you ll have plenty of time

What??? I turned my question booklet black last year with all of the graphite I laid down. Our proctors never mentioned anything about not being able to do so.

Yes, the booklet is printed front and back. Your proctors were crazy, if that's the case, I definitely would've complained to the CFAI about it. You DEFINITELY could write in the booklet when I took level II last June.

I wrote in my book in December.....

I always write and box my answers in the book before writing to scan tron (box means 100% confident, don't review, a letter with a ? next to it is a "best guess", just a ? come back and guess later). I actually had Procter in December ask me at the break to cover my work better and write my answers smaller because they said someone was trying to look at my answers.

Can someone confirm if we can write in the book? That would mess up my normal way of taking these kind of exams.

you can write in the book. In fact, that's the only place that you're allowed to do any of your work.
