Is this worth a retabulation? function

Hi everyone,

it's the second time in a row I fail Level I, and both time in band 10.

Here's my results :

I thought Ethics could make the difference for candidates "borderline", but it doesn't seem to have been the case here. Do you think this is worth a retabulation? Has anyone ever heard of a result changed to pass after a retabulation? How does the retabulation work?

You were probably really close. It's up to you if you want to pay the $100 for a retab, but I haven't heard of anyone's result changing after a retab. Good luck if you decide to go for it.

Apparently no one has EVER had a retab go in their favor. Save your money.

only time a retab might be useful is in level 3 but even then the score is almost never reversed. level 3 is half essay. level 1 is scantron sheet so no real reason for machine to misgrade.

My boss actually had a retab go in his favor, his exam was graded against the wrong answer sheet.

If you knew that it was going to be close and you got band 10; it's probably correct. In my boss' case he's an actuary, Ivy League Alum and was scoring 80%-90% on his mock exams. He knew that he passed, so when his results said he failed it was obviously wrong. They did refund his $100 retab fee and give him a $100 credit towards his next exam.

So just FYI for peeps, retabs can be worth it

Seems like unless you had several erasures or, like systematics boss are POSITIVE you passed, the $100 is better spend on next year's registration or prep materials. Then again, I can see how it may be worth it just to be 100% positive
