I'm not sure if you're kidding or if others are kidding but certainly any time this fall would be considered "early" and Christmas "standard" and next February "late", and all potentially doable, depending on how good you re at writing exams, getting study time in, etc. That's my opinion.

I am talking about level 2 exam, I passed level 1 in Jun 10, since lot of people already halfway thru the curriculum it concerned me so.

Depends on your level of experience. If any aspect of the level 1 exam is at all new to you then probably more likely yes its too late. If you are already experienced with most everything in the exam then you could give it a go. However, if its unlikely that you will be ready for level 2 or will even want to take it next june then there is no reason to rush through cfa level 1 now.
