I was getting between 64-67% in general, and just found it impossible to get the extra 3-6%. TO be fair though I worked 60 hours the week before in the office, cause they wouldn't give me any study leave, so both times I didn't exactly go into it feeling at my best.
I generally get 70-75 on qbank, but I really think those questions are MUCH easier than the real one.

Bexter, out of curiousity, what kind of mock scores were you getting going into the band 10 attempts if you dont mind me asking?

I feel like SJZ and I are twins.

I have heard that L2 was very formula heavy, I am good at concepts, not formulas, thats why I am looking forward to L3.

I am definately ready to go on to level two! this is my third take at level 1, having got band 10 both times previously, so believe me, I will be signing up for level 2 straight after I pass this exam!

you got money to blow Bexter

That's a huge relief. On any given test I'll get 85% of the concept questions right and only 40% of the formula ones right. HATE formulas, they're the death of me.

I've heard the same for Level 2... not sure what I'll do if i pass, because we won't find out until end of January for sure. So realistically speaking, you have to start in February 3 months to read the material and 1 month to review. That's 16 weeks... If you study 2 hours everyday (except one) and 8 hours on the weekend, that comes to about 272 hours. I heard you need 300 or more for level II. So that's cutting it close. Also, that is if nothing else happens in your life.... BUT if we take it and pass, we would be talking about L3 at this time next year! what a great thought!!!

"Dont let L2 discourage you", is the advice I hear a lot, it is a memory dump type test which is formulae heavy. I would go for it, but i'll probably be taking L1 in June...again.

i would suggest, if you feel fairly confident you passed level 1 to get a hold of schweser or something and start on level 2 before getting results. By the time you get results, and CFA books it's already early february.
