Score Band 7 practice, understand, falling, getting, between

Can someone help me understand how bad is score band 7?

And how gradings are done. Like for a pass do we need to get >70% in all topic areas or few falling between 51%-70% can also assure a pass.

So far I have been doing practice exams and getting mix results.

As far as I know you need an overall score of around 70% to pass. Your sectionwise breakdown does not matter.

A band 7 means you did better than 60-70% of the people who failed. Don't worry about the past, just focus on making the most out of these two odd weeks.

I'm pretty sure from my research that CFA grade on curve. That does mean that you need to be better than 70% of other candidates, not that you do 70% right and pass.
