Volume 2 schweser: is it just me or is it painfully hard?

I'm having a hard time even on the morning session exams for volume 2.

My past scores include mid 90s on mock, mid 80s on vol 1/CFAI sample exams and overall 84 on all qbank questions done.

Is vol 2 closer to the real exam? i'm really finding it a bit excessive in difficulty :S

I have to admit that I leaked a little mud after I got my Schweser Volume 2 Exam 1 Morning results - I got a 68% overall.

Then I uploaded my results onto their site (yesterday) and saw that the average results for that exam is 69%.

I felt a little bit better, but that test was really a bear.

The CFAI mock was much easier than that.

I'm opposite. High 70's, low 80's on schweser vol 2., 80%+ on Qbank, 71% on the mock. I'm a bit concerned.

I did the Exam 1 AM session and it felt like reading a damn book with the huge paragraphs. I began to get very frustrated after a while. Its 10 pages longer than Vol 1 Exam 1 AM!

In short, not worth it. Buy the extra CFA sample exams

volume 2 is a joke, don't sweat it.
