Were my Level I results leaked? why, apologize, confusion, received, released

I took the Level I in June in Atlanta and I (along with a fellow coworker) received an email from the CFA Society of Atlanta last week inviting me to a prep course for the December Level I exam. I emailed them back asking why I had received this if results weren’t released yet and if this meant I had failed. I was emailed back, “You received this message in error. I apologize for any confusion this may have caused.” Has this happened to anyone else before? If so, did you fail? Thanks!

I hear that they have an earlybird $75 retabulation option which is only valid before the results are released.

the society is just trying to make money off of you. i got a few of these like a week after the exam. they just want you to sign up for one of their prep courses. they don’t know if you passed or failed.
