Technical Analysis reading

Technical Analysis is probably a better trading indicator than Quantitative Valuations. I don’t think it hurts to have a basic understanding of it…

This video highlights the most important parts of the reading.

If you are not particularly interested in Technical Analysis and simply want to pass the exam here is what you do:
1. Listen to the video.
2. Do all the practice problems at the end of the reading (and understand them well)
The two or three  questions you get on the exam will most likely be derived from the practice problems in the Curriculum.

Yeah, so far I’d say technical analysis, agg. demand, prices, output and business cycles are my favorite los’s just cause they’re so easy to apply to “real life”.  Doesn’t mean they’re easy to grasp though.

I just finished the Technical Analysis reading a few weeks back and I actually enjoyed it.  Easy concepts and seems like they should straight-foward on the exam.  Don’t know why everyone seems to hate it.

This reading still haunts me.

haha, that’s what I was going to say.
and fyi Schweser, if you’re reading this, pg.271 in Book 1, #11 is not a very nice problem to give anxiety ridden candidates!

When i cleared level I, it was the smallest and easiest reading of all. There were no charts, figures and dry stuff.

Like it or not, you gotta do it. I wasn’t too big a fan of this reading (or taxes)
