How much time ....

...did you spend on Quantitative Analysis?
I have just started with the cfa curriculum(JUNE'10) and thought it would be better to start with quant as i have very basic knowledge of it.As far as Ethics is concerned,i plan on reading it on a regular basis,i mean once every week(i hope so).
So what do u people think,Is this a right head start?

Cheers

Hey Jatboy, welcome back. Your idea is good. Start with quant as it feeds into the remainder of the curriculum. Ethics requires multiple reads, with the last a couple of days before exam day. Best of luck

You are going to read ethics once a week until June 2010?! That is dedication my friend! You'll be ready that is for sure.

Unless he overthinks every question. Ethics questions are generally nebulous...sometimes, less is more.

Ethics once a week is overkill. You'll be giving up valuable study time for other topics, especially ones that may give you trouble. I do agree with studying ethics multiple times, but just make these reviews in depth and count. I read ethics first, did a full review as well as finished up the Qbank questions in the middle of my study, and then also did a full review about a week prior to exam day.

I spent only a little time on quant as I was already comfortable with this section. YMMV, depending on your previous knowledge on the subject.

why don't you study really hard for it and take the exam in December instead of June? June is too far out.....atleast if you fail you know what you need to concentrate on for June.
