I am also with you....it seems to me that this question was part of FRA....
And reminds me for sure of the Fraud Triangle (which the answer for me was pressure of an external auditor).

ozzie I agree with your logic.. I would definitely throw out the internal control, but I don't know why I picked the external audit. Some things you just cannot explain....
