The platform is fitted with a load sensor (Fig.A-3.) which measures the static load upon the platform. The electronic unit of this overload device is mounted in the control box door (fig.A-7). The overload device indicates when the platform is overloaded. If the load upon the platform (incl. platform elements, drive unit, fences) exceeds the load level of the HC program number, the static overload device will be activated. If the static overload device has been activated,the motors cannot be switched-on. By removing a part of the load the machine will be restored to operation.
When the platform is loaded to 90% of capacity, the light on top of the control box starts to burn.
When the platform is loaded to 100% of capacity, the light on top of the control box will burn and a buzzer will sound. In this situation the machine will stop and can not be operated further until the excessive load is removed. |
