Oh, I am for sure sitting. I just feel like this is the perfect storm as far as L1 goes.

Influx of jobless talent on the market, lots of people deciding they need to become more marketable... A lot of said people are much smarter than me.

It doesnt matter how many smart people take the exam. All that matters is you beat the minimum passng score as set by the cfa institute based on thier assessment of how difficult the exam was..

nuppal, I was thinking the same thing "jobless talent, smarter ppl, etc" for the June exam and the pass rates came out to be 45%..

We just need to drill right on till the last day, and try our best. I feel like im in the same boat as you, studied 200+ hours and think i am on the border.

My strategy. Either way I know that I WILL be taking LII in June 2011. If I pass LI in Dec 09 I am doing GMAT afterwards.

Maybe I should switch that though. If I passLI in dec I take LII in June...

yeah i'm in the same boat. unfortunately i pretty much have accepted i'm gonna fail this. left WAY too much till last minute, and right now haven't even looked at fixed income or derivatives/AI.

but on a side note...if we DO have to re-write the exam next june, we don't pay the same amount correct? just for the exam?
