一个很简单的问题Compute the PV of an annuity that pays $1,000 per year in sem

Compute the PV of an annuity that pays $1,000 per year in semiannual installments over five years using an
interest rate of 12 percent, compounded semiannually.

怎么把它计算出来的啊,[(500/1.06+500)/1.06+500]/1.06---------

这么用笔算不是很麻烦吗,你们怎么算,不好意思,我是刚刚才学,好多不明白,麻烦说清楚点

it just show you manually / logically how to think the problems.

Actaully you just need to plug in the numbers into you calculator.

ok, if you really want to work it out manualy, I suggest that you work backwords(i.e. discount 500 from the end of year 5 to year 0 if 500 is paid in arrear)

复利公式,查表。。there is a formula which can work it out.....but i'm very sorry that i forgot it.

问题是不是说:每半年偿付500d持续5年,年利12% 半年6% 支付10次 计算现值

如果是这样的话,可以这样做:先算终值 FVA=500『(1+0.06)×(1+0.06).....(10次方)--1』/0.06

再算现值FVA/{(1+0.06)+.....(10次方)}

对否?错误之处希望大家指出。。。

N=5*2=10 PMT=500 FV=0 1/Y=6 ===>CPT PV

actually we''ve got : Annuity present value = CF * (1-present value factor)/r

Applying the fomula, it goes PV=500 * [1-(1/1.06 to the power of 10)]/0.06, and obtain PV = 3680
