Representing passing lvl 1 on resume help please!

Hey guys, I know lvl 1 doesn't mean much but I'm going to be a fresh grad soon. Can anyone share parts of their resume that they have which refer to passing this? When i say this i mean what are some nice ways of representing this in 'qualifications' or 'skills' and in a cover letter?

have you successfully registered for L2?

if so, write L2 candidate

inb4 write CFA Level 1

I just put the generic "Passed the level 1 exam in the CFA program, planning on taking level 2 in June '12."

Not sure how many other ways you can write it really.

srry guys, I don't mean for education and referring to it specifically. I mean for ways to sell your self through the resume.

so far ive come up with "? Highly knowledgeable in topics including corporate finance, economics, and financial instruments including mutual funds, fixed income, and equity investments" under 'summary'

I personally wouldn't think anyone can be deemed highly knowledgeable in any of those areas with a L1 pass alone. Remember the benchmark is against other working professionals and not against other students once you graduated.

But do make sure you mention the Level 1 pass because it is definitely value adding. Good luck!

"2012 Level II Candidate in the CFA Program" is the right way to do it once you register for level II
