With a undergrad major in computer science does help re-direct career onto financial industry, e.g. Investment banking, asset mgmt,wealth mgmt etc. b/c financial modeling, quant analysis, risk mgmt and portfolio mgmt are overwhelmingly relying on programs/programming. Besides those, a qualified analyst should acquire necessary fundamental understanding on financial concept in investment universe. These two knowledge sets constitute dual step stones for getting yourself into financial/investment arena.

In short, to be qualified, just intelligence and interest are needed. If you have proved your intelligence by your computer degree, along with your ambition, it suffices to say you will be making a difference via trial. That's it.
