L3 GIPS 问题（1） single, individual, Investment, accordance, referring

在GIPS中有下面这么一条规定，这是啥意思呢？求指点。谢谢啦！

 

“Statements referring to the performance of a single, existing client as being “calculated in accordance with the Global Investment Performance Standards” are also prohibited except when a GIPS-compliant firm reports the performance of an individual portfolio to the existing client. (I.0.A.6–8.)”

就是如果整个公司符合gips 的话， 只有在对客户报告时候可以用“calculated in accordance with the Global Investment Performance Standards”

是不是说不能说单一客户的performance是calculated in accordance with the Global Investment Performance Standards，但是如果整个公司都符合GIPS的话，就可以说单个Porfolio的performance是calculated in accordance with the Global Investment Performance Standards？

 

这么理解对吗？

 GIPS is only for firm, not for client or portfolio.
