Well there is an advantage to it. Taking a timed test in exam like conditions can only benefit you. It's an individual call depending on how much you have covered and your time constraints.

Ask yourself: Do I have the discipline to take a proper timed test at home/library without any distractions?

Hi,

I'm just wondering if there is any benefit in taking a LIVE Mock exam as opposed to taking it online or on paper? Schweser holds one live mock in Toronto 2 weeks before the exam and I'm not sure if it's worth spending a whole day (incl. travel time, etc.) to take it instead of taking the online version?!

I recommend checking with your local CFA society. I don't know how common this is, but I am taking a full length practice test November 6th and it's only $25.
