Anyone take the BSAS practice exam this year? What did you think of it?

If you're a retaker, and took the BSAS practice exam last year, did you think the exam was a good indicator of your overall readiness?

I think in general it is good...used it for level 1....beats q-bank thats for sure...

Last year's level 2 exam was almost worthless. They don't word the questions as well as the CFAI, they had multiple errors, and the whole day probably would have been better spent studying than sitting there doing that.

I think the Schweser mocks are better than that exam.

I took it this year -

1 - They horribly screwed up a currency exchange vingnette. They mixed up USD:EUR, literally wrote it backwards.

2 - Then they left off a correct answer to a calculation question...

3 - Then they actually got a numerical calculation WRONG in another question...

Not impressed with BSAS - looks like they didn't even have anyone TAKE the test before they sold it to people. Would not do it again and recommend others stay away.

Also thought it was much easier than the test will be.

I had taken the BSAS mock last year, during my preparation for Level 1.

The level of difficulty compared to the "basic questions" of Scweser Qbank.

Based on my last year's experience, I do not think it is actually a mock.
