List of required SEC filings required, directly, something, question

Hey guys,

This is my first post, I hope this question hasn't been asked and answered in the past! For Study Session 7; the CFA LOS doesn't specifically state that we need to know all the required SEC filings, but the Schweser QBank has a couple of questions that relate directly to the list... is this something worth memorizing?

Appreciate the help!

In that chapter, I went through only what was asked in the LOSes. That itself was painful enough. I didn't think it was worth the effort to do non-LOS stuff....

I don't recall it being on the objectives, but I think it's something you should know for your own knowledge.

Thanks for the help, I figured I should know it at some point but doing the CFA right out of college with no finance industry experience I really didn't want to overload myself with too much at once - sticking to just the LOS for now and hoping I pick up the excess once I get a job!

I'm surprised you never learned anything about SEC filings in college to be honest.

Went to university in Scotland, and not originally from the US! Great with IFRS, but GAAP is all pretty new to me - major disadvantage!

It's ok. Everyone in the US is saying the same thing when it comes to IFRS questions.
