do these guys usually take a long time to review work experience? CFAI was extremely quick.

i've noticed this can happen?

Expired: Society review incomplete for 90 days, applicant should re-apply

has anyone had the society just not bother to review your experience for 90 days, causing you to re-apply?

I'm closing in on 45 days. I've wrote them and called them, no response. Starting to piss me off

I have been wating for about 20 days for approval of my local society. My local society isnt new york though. Does anybody know what the local society actually does as part of its approval process? Is it a formality or do they perform some due diligence functions?

ok spoke to a membership associate. Said once I pay dues, then the CFAI will be notified and that's it. They said they do not review the work experience. Basically, it's just a matter of them receiving my money.

wait, can you use "CFA" after your name before you're in a society?

No. That countdown for the local society on CFAI website is not going to update until I pay my dues for the local society.
