Newbie seeking some help and advice
Evening all, only just came across the forum today and by the looks of things i have a fair bit of reading to do.....on top of all the revision!! Im currently studying CeFa and havent yet got onto CeMap but the downside is im on a timescale, i have a job offer which i desperately want to take but its dependent on me passing my CeFa exam before August.Im on a limited budget at the moment so cant afford to keep shelling out on revision materials so any advice as to what you all think are the best ones is more than welcome!! Ive had a search through the forum and have found some useful posts, many of which talk of Schweser VCD's - Ive had a search around and all ive manage to find is some on ebay, can anybody tell me where i can buy these from or would you recommend looking at alternatives? Im studying with the IFS and im doing it all totally by myself as sadly i had a mentor when i originally started these with the intention that when i pass i would be working with him but he died of cancer earlier this year and now i really want to do him proud and get these out the way and give it the best shot possible! So what would you all recommend? ive seen mention of an intense course but im a bit dubious to this as i do believe its important to retain as much as possible and i know through doing this i may not and it is alot of money if you fail at the end, whats the general thought of these and does anybody know the pass rate? My next question is what materials would you recommend? At presenti only have the materials which the IFS have sent so im working through those but ive found alot of it seems to be jargon - take that out there is still a huge amount of information to digest and im not finding it easy!!!
Any help is much appreciated, as i say im a total newbie to this site and ive searched around and found a couple of topics which ive read through and i appologise if this has already been posted previously!!!
Many thanks for you help
