depends where you are in the career.
The fund-of-funds path is extremely ideal for someone who's late 40-50's, has already been in finance for many years, and wants to have great work life balance. At the end of the day, you're just picking managers, so you could actually go to work and do nothing since the money is being managed somewhere else.
bchad is correct, the primary competition to FofF are consultants. |
