International textbook editions are a real thing: U.S. publishers often print softcover editions of their textbooks in India for the south asian market. When I was in school, we saved big bucks by importing these versions, generally for half the price of the US hardcover edition of the same book.
Schweser doesn't do "international" editions though: there is only one edition for the entire world. When you see users selling "international" editions of Schweser texts on ebay etc, they are really selling pirated copies -- though for obvious reasons, the sellers can't be upfront about this. |
