Prospects in Financial Domain with CFA for IT folks

planning, either, transition, office, start
Hi,
I am a IT Professional at one of the Biggest Financial Firms and planning to transition to either quantitative or Front office positions. Has anyone you know done this or planning to do this? any ideas what would be the best way to start with?

Quant would be the best bet. FO roles need some FO experience.

I’ve never heard of anyone looking to do this. due to your special situation, you should be a shoe-in for a FO role
