CFA1 Sample Exams vs. Mock Exams only, understand, practice, several

I understand the CFA1 sample exams are $40 each (1st one free) and the mock exams are $60 each or two for $100. Do you guys recommended both? I’ve read where several people say that many of the questions from these exams show up on the actual exam. I also read that the exams are online and you can’t print them to study later. Is this true? If so, it does not seem right to pay for practice exams that you only get to see once.

Do them all. The sample exams allow you to see each answer immediately after you answer the question, but doesn’t allow you to print anything at the end. Mock exams don’t tell you the answers, but do allow you to print off a list of the LOS for each question. While it is annoying that they don’t give you the answers, the most important outcome is that you get a feel for the way questions are worded, you better understand time constraints, and it helps you know where you are in terms of knowing the concepts.
