Questions about NYC center backpack, planning, specific

1) I am planning to carry a backpack with books, blank papers and lunch box. Do they allow to keep bags in some room during the exam? In the special instructions for NYC, some specific room is mentioned to keep our stuff but only 1 room for 5000 candidates ?!
2) I will be taking north east corridor from NJ and getting off at penn station. I assume the walk from penn station to the test center is about 15 min. Is that right ?!
Things I am planning to keep with me during the exam
Blank A4 papers, BA II plus calculator, battery, small screw driver, pencils, eraser, sharpner, wrist watch, driving license, passport and the admission ticket… am i missing anything else?

I never post but I felt I had to , YOU CANNOT BRING BLANK PAPERS, didn’t you read the rules, absolutely no paper is allowed.
