Doesn’t a correct code of conduct also stipulate against talking about non public information in public areas of the workplace?

I called a violation, but it was reasonable basis. Yeah, talking about nonpublic info in public is a violation, but the folks that the item set focused on didn’t overhear anything. They were simply speculating on what the conversation was about.
